It is also sad that to upgrade to LIon batteries costs so much, for your money you only get NiCd, which are OK, but I am sure won't last as long. When new they work fine and hold a charge for plenty of time to get the job done, especially since the kit comes with 2.

This is a very cool set. The drill and driver are incredible. The only complaint I have is that the reciprocating saw seems to be a bit weaker than my corded model. My corded model is the lowest/weakest Dewalt model and feels as though it has more torque than the cordless version. I still preferr the cordless one due to portability though so I will stick with it. It is also sad that to upgrade to LIon batteries costs so much, for your money you only get NiCd, which are OK, but I am sure won't last as long. When new they work fine and hold a charge for plenty of time to get the job done, especially since the kit comes with 2.
